Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026

BodybyNam, operated by Nam Thomas Shartzer (“BodybyNam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, purchase a digital training program, use Client Access, schedule a consultation, or contact us.

Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Your email address when you begin checkout, purchase a program, request a passwordless sign-in link, or contact support.
  • An optional preferred name and your choice about receiving occasional program news and offers.
  • Purchase information, including the program purchased, amount, currency, order status, transaction identifiers, fulfillment status, and access entitlement.
  • Account information needed to authenticate you and display programs associated with your verified purchase email.
  • Messages and information you voluntarily provide when requesting support.
  • Technical information that may be recorded automatically by our hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, and security logs.

Stripe processes payment-card and payment-method information through its hosted checkout. BodybyNam does not receive or store your complete card number or security code.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and process orders.
  • Confirm payment and deliver purchased PDF programs.
  • Provide passwordless Client Access and restore purchased-program access.
  • Prevent fraud, secure the website, and investigate technical problems.
  • Respond to support, refund, privacy, and account requests.
  • Maintain transaction, accounting, and legal records.
  • Send occasional program news and offers only when you have opted in.
  • Send operational messages such as sign-in links, receipts, purchased-program delivery, security notices, and requested support. These messages are not controlled by the optional marketing preference.

Service providers

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, including to:

  • Stripe for checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, refunds, and transaction administration.
  • Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery, and security.
  • Supabase for authentication, database services, and private program storage.
  • Our transactional email provider for sign-in and program-delivery messages.
  • Google when you use the embedded consultation scheduler.
  • YouTube when you view embedded videos.
  • Professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. BodybyNam does not sell personal information.

Cookies and third-party content

BodybyNam does not currently use its own advertising cookies. Embedded services such as YouTube and Google Calendar may collect technical information or use cookies when their content loads or when you interact with it.

Links to external websites and social-media services are governed by those services’ privacy policies.

Marketing choices

Program news and offers are optional and disabled by default. You may change this preference through Client Access or use the unsubscribe method included in a marketing message.

Operational messages related to purchases, accounts, security, or requested support may still be sent.

Retention

We retain information only for legitimate operational, accounting, legal, security, and customer-access purposes.

Transaction and entitlement records may be retained while needed to provide purchased-program access and satisfy legal obligations. Account and preference information is retained while the account remains active or until a valid deletion request is completed, subject to records we must retain. Marketing opt-out information may be retained so that we continue honoring the request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Customers are responsible for protecting access to their email account and must not share passwordless sign-in links.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to provide access to personal information associated with you, correct inaccurate information, delete eligible information, stop marketing communications, or explain or restrict certain uses where applicable law provides that right.

Some transaction, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legal records may need to be retained. Deleting an account may affect Client Access but does not automatically cancel a completed purchase or required transaction record.

We may need to verify your identity using the email associated with the account or purchase. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to complain to a local privacy regulator.

International processing

BodybyNam operates from the United States. If you access the service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

Children’s privacy

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

A parent or legal guardian must make purchases and supervise program use for anyone who has not reached the age of majority where they live. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally valid permission, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date will be updated when changes are published.
